It's a small sample size, but Floyd has the 3rd highest BA on the team so far and has played well.

I'd like to see Murton and Floyd in there, but while Aramis is out I can understand making sure Floyd is playing based on power alone.

No-next left-hander the Cubs will face is Wednesday in Atlanta. Murton has a good chance of getting the start on Tuesday-he hasn't faced Maddux, and Floyd hasn't been very good against him in his 78 at-bats. They face Clay Hensley tomorrow, and neither one of them has faced him much, so Floyd will probably start.
