Sit down Carlos Lee. Go eat a burrito.

Equally shocked. There's no way Carlos Lee eats just one of anything.

Food for thought..

I'm well aware that Jones had a good year last year, at least against RHP. That's why we should have traded him in the off-season. I'm more than happy to put Murton's .350 OBP in the 2 hole against RHP or LHP.

Please stop with the Murton man crushes! I like the guy too but goodness, he'll get his chance. It's not like has been killing the ball or getting on base any other way. It's game 8.

Actually, you know what, I'll post that I want Murton to play pretty much whenever I feel like it. I think Murton should be hitting 2nd. He has a .350 OBP (which this team needs, esp at the top of the lineup) and I think he'll improve on that. He may not be starting hot, but a sample size of 20 ABs doesn't really convince me of anything.

Please stop with the "he'll get his chance" talk! Unless you have the inside info from Lou that says Murton is going to get 500 ABs this year, how do you really know that?

Man I hate when people tell others what they can and can't post.

exactly the reason he should be playing.

No it isn't. Murton isn't a lock in the lineup but he will get plenty of at bats.

Marquis seems to have settled down.

Settling down after giving up 3 runs in the first still doens't help us much.

It doesn't? If he didn't settle down we could be down by 10 right now.

You know it's sad when I turned off the game after Jones's double play in the 1st inning thinking "Today's one of those days."

Oh well, I have to go paint anyway.

We should be able to win when the starting pitching gives up 3.

It's either more than one burrito, or you need a forklift to move that sucker.

3 runs is a pathetic lead with the potential damage that this offense can do. Settling down by Marquis is incredibly important, actually.

You are entitled to your opinion but there's really no reason to keep saying it over and over again. He isn't in there and having a fit everytime Jones or Floyd do something you don't like isn't going to change it.

the reason he may not look great is that it's game 8, which is my point. give him time means give him some plate appearances.

so far, it looks like floyd is going to get most of them.
