Who should I be watching for on the Mississippi Braves roster this year?

 

It looks like Salty is back in AA this season, so I know he's a player to watch. Who else?

 

Also, it appears the first team visiting is the Carolina Mudcats. Who should I watch for on that team?

I'm going to try to go once when each team is in town. They're playing five game series in the SL this year, so that helps. It gives me five chances to get there.

I think he was just rushed way too fast last year. He pitched 13 games in high-A, 6 games in AA, 1 in AAA, and 10 in the majors. He's only 23 so AA seems pretty age-appropriate this year for him.

I'm not in any way an expert but it seems to me with the high number of transactions, promotions, demotions, etc. that go on in minor league ball its pretty difficult to get any really good idea of who will actually be there after a couple weeks into the season.

 

I'd say it's more fun to go to the games and take note of the guys you're impressed by then look them up afterwards.
