screw MLB.tv....I'm so mad at them right now. Blackouts are the biggest load of crap ever bestowed upon an American consumer. I'm in Oxford, MS, yet I'm blacked out of the Cincinnati network. I'm over 500 miles away and I'm blacked out.

Yeah, that is a bunch of crap. I'm only 80 miles from Anaheim, 100 miles from Los Angeles and a little over 300 miles to Phoenix, and the only games they blackout for me in San Diego are the Padres.

I haven't used my free trial yet this year but I am going to soon. With a stretch of 4 untelevised games next, I'm probably going to sign up Tuesday morning so that I can watch the final 2 games of the Astros series and the first 2 games of the Cinci series.

their blackout rules change year by year apparently. i put in my zip code, and it said i should only be blacked out for reds games. but i'm also blacked out of indians games and tigers games, which wasn't the case last year. who knows who else i'm blacked out of. maybe chicago games too, since chicago is about the same distance away as cleveland for me.

the choppy crappy poopy reception on opening day was not cool.

I'm blacked out of Royals, Cards, Rangers, and Astros games. If I weren't so far away from Chicago, I'd tell mlb.tv to shove it.

The MLB.TV free trial is 5 days for EACH email address you have.

So, if you have enough email addresses, you can basically watch the whole season for free. :D

I live in Iowa City, here's my blackout restrictions...

* Chicago Cubs

* St. Louis Cardinals

* Minnesota Twins

* Milwaukee Brewers

* Chicago White Sox

* Kansas City Royals

What the hell? Honestly, the only games televised here are the Cubs and Sox. The Cardinals are on TV if they're on the WB. However, there's absolutely never Brewers, Twins, or Royals games on. I hate the blackout rules.

All that being said, I'm still eventually going to sign up for MLB.TV Premium because I don't have directv or digital cable, and the Mosaic/Fantasy Roster options are a great idea.

Of course I'm going to wait a week or two for the kinks to get worked out
