My friend, who is a very knowledgeable baseball fan, says that David Wright is the most overrated player in the NL.

 

IMO he really isn't. His game is very technically sound...even ARod is taking parts of his game. If hitting .300 every year with around 30 homers and 100+ RBI is over-rated, I'll gladly take him off of the Mets' hands.

 

Oh I don't think he's overrated at all. I think my friend is out of his mind with that statement but I don't argue about it with him anymore, he's believed it for awhile.

 

Let me guess, your friend is a Cards fan who thinks that Rolen is the best 3B in the game?
