There's a Reds fan sitting behind me in the library....what should I throw at her?

Something heavy. :D

Well, the dissapointment brought on by about May or so takes some of the luster out of Opening Day, but I drive my wife crazy with my winter countdown.

"Hey honey, guess what today is?"

"What? Tuesday?"

"No! 34 days until Opening Day!!!"

"I want a divorce"

Hmmm..... sounds like your wife and mine are related.

Haha. She's actually pretty cool about it. She doesn't care much for baseball, but she lets me enjoy it and actually lets me turn on the game if we're driving somewhere.

God, but do I love that woman.

There are women that won't let you turn on the game when you love the team? Kill me before I get married. That's going to be big fight.

It becomes "Who do you love more, them or me" sometimes-the trick is to not get it to that point. Let up sometimes, make compromises to not have to watch every game live (with a DVR that's much easier), and it makes it much easier to watch plenty of games :D

Separate TVs in separate rooms can be quite effective, too.

Why do I have a feeling this is going to come up with my current girlfriend when we get engaged and have to talk to the preacher?

This is going to be bad.

We have several TVs in our house, so I can just go into another room.

Or, I can just bust out a walkman and listen to it on 720.
