I think in general Jon is probably right.

Luckily for me I have 6 White Sox/Cubs bleachers. I've had 6 people email me within 30 minutes of posting on Craigs list. If anybody on here is looking for Cubs White Sox bleachers make me an offer (5/19)

I put "make an offer of at least 150 bucks per pair" in my posting on craigslist and didn't have the problem that you're having. Maybe try editing your ad to include something like that.

i did that just a minute ago...we'll see what happens...i also replied to all the emails i've already received asking them to make a strong offer...one person actually made an offer of 150 but i think i can do better...i countered with 200, heh...hopefully they go for it.

Especially if they're going to pick it up, you really shouldn't sell for much less than $200 for a pair to the Saturday White Sox game.

I had two people offer me 600 for 6 tickets to that game. Don't sell for less than that, there are definitely people out there that will pay it.

Well, so far so good on my extra ticket purchases.

Background: I wasn't aware early on that you could only buy six per game for the entire weekend, I thought it was just six per time you got into the system. I ended up with 12 bleacher seats to a weekend Cardinals game.

So far, my credit card has been billed for all of these. Has anyone had this happen where their credit card was later credited instead and they didn't end up with the tickets? I'm fine with losing six of them, but I will be very disappointed if I lose all twelve.

edit: if anyone is interested in Braves bleacher tickets for Saturday, June 2nd, shoot me a private message.

I've heard of people buying too many, and it didn't come out until ticket printing time that they'd gotten their purchases canceled. So I think you'll have to hang in for several more weeks to see if you're off the hook or not.

Yeah, pretty much all you can do is wait right now.

My brother accidentally got 6 bleacher tickets for the same game twice (never got the first confirmation page). I spoke with a tickets.com rep and they said it was up to the Cubs ticket office as to which orders they cancel and which they let through. This week, they start going through every order placed and make their decisions. I also emailed the Cubs ticket office and they replied back by saying Tickets.com would automatically cancel the second order, but I don't think that's right. His credit card was also charged for both orders, by the way.

I think there's a 50% chance that he'll get to keep all 12 tickets, but regardless, all you can do right now is wait and see what they do come March 13th.

So much for that. The only tickets available two minutes after they go on sale are SRO tickets? That's freaking absurd.

The Reds' Power Pack sale is an unmitigated disaster. You can walk in right now with no wait and buy whatever you want.

I want to go to opening day - in fact I've already booked a hotel - but I'm not buying 11 games just for opening day.

I'll buy from Stubhub or eBay if I need to.

Hopefully the Reds will release single-game tickets for opening day and I can get them that way.

SRO tickets for opening day and the ring ceremony on 4/3 are going for several times over face value.

From the Cubs:

TICKETS FOR DUGOUT, BULLPEN BOX AND BLEACHER BOX SEATS TO GO ON SALE MARCH 15TH

Monday, March 5, 2007

CHICAGO – The Chicago Cubs announced today the policy for sales of 2007 single-game tickets for Dugout, Bullpen and Bleacher Box seats.

Starting at 9 a.m. (CT) on Wednesday, March 7, fans can visit http://www.cubs.com to register for the opportunity to purchase up to six Dugout, Bullpen or Bleacher Box tickets, plus convenience fees and handling fees, for one Chicago Cubs regular season home game. The deadline to register is Sunday, March 11 at 3:00 p.m. CT.

To maximize fairness and to allow as many fans an opportunity, tickets will be available for purchase only on the internet through a random system. Tickets will be offered on a single game basis only. No season ticket sales will be available.

Those who are selected to be given the first opportunity to purchase tickets will be notified on Tuesday, March 13. The winners will then be allowed to purchase on Thursday, March 15, in a designated time period, up to six Dugout, Bullpen or Bleacher Box tickets for one game. Additional registered fans will be given the opportunity to purchase tickets as long as inventory remains available.

The 213 dugout box seats run from the edge of the Cubs dugout to the visitors’ dugout. The 82 bullpen box seats run at the end of the visitors’ dugout to the bullpen. The 252 bleacher box seats are located in right field of the Bud Light bleachers near the foul pole.

Pricing for these Individual tickets:

Value Games Regular Games Prime Games

Dugout Box $55 $130 $255

Bullpen Box $45 $80 $155

Bleacher Box $24 $47 $62

Does anyone know when Will Call tickets are available?

My email says tickets will be mailed after March 13th, the same day they will be available at Will Call.

Anyone interested in a trade?

My 4 bleacher tickets to the Sunday 4/22 Cubs-Cards game at Wrigley for your tickets to a Cubs-Cards game at Busch? If not, I'll just go to the game since I'll already be up there for the 4/21 game. But I'd like to trade if anyone is interested.

Mini-update on how they are handling purchases over the alloted limits:

My buddy bought 12 bleacher tickets to the first Saturday game against the Reds and they just credited his checking account for 6 of them. So, it looks like they aren't canceling the entire orders at least.

I may be interested. I'll PM you later.
