The 24-year-old right-hander that posted an 11-2 mark with a 2.56 ERA as a rookie last season is beset by biceps tendinitis, a condition that has plagued him in the past. Weaver said he's not overly concerned, but he will be limited to flat ground work and may not get on a Spring Training mound for another two weeks

"The way I throw, it's obviously going to be an issue. I've had issues with it ever since high school, ever since I was little," Weaver said. "It's just something that I've got to deal with and work it out."

If he continues to throw across his body, his whole career is going to be filled with arm injuries.

All of that stress from throwing across the body is going right to the shoulder.

I came prepared for a sentence on mechanics.

I was not disappointed. (Well, I was, but that's a different story.)

This bodes well for the Cubs and their fabled rivalry with the Angels.

He needed to take advantage of this opportunity to remind us that he is a community college pitcher, ok. Give the guy a break. (I would have put it in transactions)

Rivals = NL central teams and maybe the White Sox. That's it.

Yeah, I really dont know why I put this in this section. Oh well. They will soon be a rival.

If by soon you mean never then yes, soon.

Explain.

World Series, duh.

Even if we met in the WS I wouldn't call that a rivalry.

Z is going to fire a fastball at Vlad's head, and Derrek Lee is going to punch out GMJr. at the same time.

Intense rivalry.

Since you like KRod, I thought you'd like to know that Rodriguez has a strained hamstring and hasn't pitched yet this spring. The Angels are hoping he can get on the mound by the end of this week.

This should be in rivalries.

Jesus, lighten up on the guy.

Actually, I was making the joke to imply everybody else should lighten up. Though I suppose my deadpanning didn't come across well. baseball7897 and I are civil to each other now, policing me is hardly necessary.

Edit:

Almost forgot. I'm not actually Jesus, but I appreciate the notion I'm close enough to be confused for him.

I think he was confusing you with former Cubs players....either Jesus Sanchez, or Ivan DeJesus.
