I'm going to leave robbie in my avatar for one more week (pro bowl mojo), then i have to see if a Cub can get the same rub that Robbie got from the high profile position in my avatar.
How about Prior? Maybe that would help him stay healthy and return to form. :D
\\

that was my thinking

Does it have to be one player or could you put up a couple smaller photos say of Wood and Prior? Maybe include Lee in there as well since he was hurt last year?

he shouldn't press his luck; we should be happy if ONE cub has a surprisingly good/healthy year

The Iowa one is funniest. It said "Colts defense" not "Bob Sanders", but that didn't stop Iowa people from voting for the defense. I'm sure if they could write in Dallas Clark, they'd do so.

People in Iowa don't have a lot to hold on to sports-wise, so they take it where they can get it.

Hey, now! Step-off! I didn't vote for either of them. Of course, I'm an Illini fan that happens to live in Iowa.

Well, you're in a select minority.

Where in Iowa, btw?

Ain't that the truth...

I'd give it to Sanders. Dude picked off a pass that essentially ended the game, and earlier he destroyed Benson to force a fumble. Plus he hilariously collided with his teammate on Jones' long run, and is built like a small tank. That's good enough for me.

I don't even like the Bears and that was easily the worst Superbowl ever. [expletive] Peyton Manning. Ah well, I can still keep hoping he gets Theismann'ed by Shawne Merriman or some other good pass rusher next year. And for a tiny sliver of good side, at least Marlin Jackson and Cato June got rings.

Well, I am also a huge Illini fan, and spent most of my life in eastern Iowa, so I know how it is.

Grossman needs to move to Vegas and be an Aaron Brooks impersonator since he's obviously so good at running backwards and handing the other team the ball.

Yeah, I get along with all the Iowa State fans................they hate the Hawkeyes too.

I don't have to argue about the Cubs quite as much as I did when I was gowing up in Illinois w/ Card fans.

The first quarter was exciting though!!

Tony Dungy should just get on the phone and thank Kirk Ferentz for making Bob Sanders/Dallas Clark.

Both guys weren't recruited at all when they left college, and Ferentz took both of them, and look what he turned them into.

Don't you think wishing a serious injury for somebody is uncalled for?

Only if he isn't Barry Bonds or Eric Gordon.

Seriously, I hate the Colts but Peyton is too nice a guy to wish serious harm upon.

I jokingly wished death on a player once, and I'll never do it again.

Are you guys over Bruce Pearl yet? Figured Kelvin Sampson would make you forget about him.

congrats to the Colts, kicked our asses.

ohh, and both our coordinators, turner and riveria, garbage. complete garbage. I could care less if either leave.

I still contend, the Bears will still the better team (even with Harris and Brown, but with those two, there is NO DOUBT who would be better) but I concede that the better team don't always win the Super Bowl.

Bruce Pearl and his tapes are just as bad as Sampson.

As Deon Thomas once said after the Pearl and Iowa situation: "It's hard to forget a snake!"

No offense but a lot of you have sour grapes right now.

You'd think the Bears just lost the Super Bowl or something.

The uncalled for sarcasm aside, being a fan doesn't give you the right to flat out make ridiculous excuses and badmouth the other team. The AFC has been dominant all season and I don't know why many of you are so surprised. Nothing happened in this game that hasn't happened all year long, for either team.

Edit: What is your deal anyway TT? I can count on one hand the seconds it takes you to reply with condescension to whatever it is I may post. Is this all about sabrmetrics? *hug*

Oh c'mon. As much as I'd like to believe that, seeing as how you tore up my Saints, that's just a bit much. Look at the .500 or above teams the Colts beat this year: Patriots twice, Ravens, Eagles, Jaguars, Bengals, Jets, Giants, Titans, Broncos, Chiefs, and the Bears. That's 11 teams.

.500 or above teams the Bears beat: Green Bay, Seattle twice, Giants, Jets, Rams, and Saints. That's 6 teams.

The Colts deserve their due, but the Bears really, really helped them out tonight.
