This will work out good for the Bears. Packers coming in fighting for a playoff spot will be a good tune up for the playoffs.

Hoping the starters, Tillman, Vash, & Johnson all start and get this D back on track.

According to ChicagoSports.com, there are reports that Tank lost up to 15 pounds. It'll be interesting to see how he does in practice this week.

Is that a good thing?

I don't think it can be, that would make him about 280 I think.

Yeah, not a good thing.

Let's go Packers!

Amen. A Giants loss on Saturday would make this our most important regular season game since nearly two years to the date on Christmas Eve. That game was against the 'Queens in the Dome, and we came out victorious 34-31, and won the NFC North for the 3rd year in the row.

Of course, a Giants win makes this game pretty much irrelevant.

Losing 15 pounds over the offseason while coming to camp more trimmed and cut = good thing

Losing 15 pounds over a 2 week period following a tramatic arrest and death of your best friend = bad thing

Of course, quitting marijuana and its appetizing side effects may do that to someone too ;)

Could bare the fact that you were a Sox fan, but a Packers fan too? That's 2 strikes....I'll be watching closely for the third ;)

I hear he's a Knicks fan ;)

He also likes the Illini. What an evil trio.

I want no more injuries more than I want a win Sunday. I know Bear/Pack rivalry and all that----I'll take a healthy squad for playoffs more than a sweep of the Pack.

That said, 2 quarters of starters playing should be fine. Put Griese in for the 3rd & 4th quarters, and get our backups some more play time.

Chad Mortensen trying to keep the QB controversy alive on Monday Night Countdown...ESPN can go suck it.

I'm sure the Bears are considering playing Griese in the playoffs by getting him reps without TJ, Benson, Berrian or Moose.

Pre-planned reps + showing not much + conservative playcalling + Grossman playing well + ESPN being a crap network = major QB controversy

I'd say there is a good chance. Only 2 other attractive games with playoff implications - Atlanta/Philadelphia and KC/Jacksonville.

I really doubt they'll move it to Sunday night, because by the time the game would be played, it could be completely meaningless.

With the Philly win tonight, my guess would be Philadelphia/Atlanta, since that game has meaning no matter what happens earlier in the day.

The whole Brett Favre thing would be enough by itself.
