I like real trees. I've never gotten a fake tree. Part of the fun as a child was how my family made a big deal about going out and getting the Christmas tree. We'd go to the farm and cut one down ourselves, which was fun.

They can be messy, but I love the smell.

Fake.

I have always had a fake tree, my grandparents have always had a real one. The fake tree looks better, has less cleanup, and doesnt hurt when you get pricked by it.

real, on both accounts

I thought you were banning yourself for a month if Marquis got signed?

We grew up with a real tree each year, wife and I went artificial when we lived in apartments, now back to real since we bought a house. In fact, I'm bringing my 3 1/2 year old daughter out to cut one tomorrow.

I love the feel of real ones, but they don't seem to do well with age. Fake ones seem to maintain their shape and proportion for many, many years.

Did you see what I just did there? Did you? I could have been talking about boobs or trees.

Would have been much more clever without the hint.

I absolutely detest the idea of a fake X-mas tree. I'd rather go without a tree than put a fake one up. Until it becomes cost prohibitive to go real (even then my tolerance would still be pretty high), I will always go real.

real.

i personally dont do christmas trees, but i know many tree farmers. the economy where i live would take a serious hit if tree farming didnt exist...shoot i even live next to a tree farm, makes for a great place to play fetch with my dog

Have you ever actually had a fake tree? They're really no form of evil.

Nope. Never have, never will. I know people who do. What's your point? I know they're not evil, but unless you spend big bucks on a fake one, you can tell they're fake. Even if it doesn't look fake, if you see a tree and don't smell the pine scent (which I like) you can tell it's a fake.
