My bowling league is on Monday nights during the game, and it's always on one of the scoreboard screens.

Last time the Bears were on Monday night, I was doing great for the first three quarters and stunk horribly for the fourth quarter. If my bowling tonight has the same correlation to how the Bears play, I hope I roll gutter balls all night.

My biggest question about this is why did it take so long to hear about the hamstring? At first we just heard about the knee and everyone thought it was fine. Tommie said it felt fine later after the game. Then all of a sudden this hamstring shows up. Just weird.

Maybe the Cubs' trainers are working for the Bears during the offseason?? :-k

My apartment has instituted the 1st Annual Rex Grossman Drinking Game (Dedicated, with love, to Kyle Orton).

1/2 Shot for 1st Down Passes

Double Shot for TD Passes.

Here's praying I end up blowing chunks.

Half a shot? Never heard of anyone ever doing that.

tommie harris, nathan vasher, and todd johnson all out for tonight

:-\

Who are we going to play in nickel situations? Hester? I heard Hillenmeyer might do it too.

I don't think it will be very difficult for the Rams to get favorable matchups for their WRs.

Sal Paleontonio said Hester.

Maybe Devin can add a defensive TD to his scoring list this season.

Ugh. That is brutal. Time for Boone and Ian Scott to step up and stuff the run. This is a major blow to the D. Without T Harris the front 4 will struggle to get to the QB, the Bears might have to bring some LB and CB blitzes and the secondary will be weaker.

man, its too bad Dvorckek(sp?) got hurt early, he was looking great in preseason, this would be a chance for him to step up.

If they ever put Hester in at WR (like they rumored they might do). Imagine if he could get all these at some point in his career.

Punt Return

Kick Return

FG Return

Defensive TD

Offensive TD

I wonder if that's been done?

Also, we only have to go 2-2 in the remaining games to secure HFA, so if we lose, oh well.

So the Bears have tie-breakers over New Orleans? I didn't think that was the case.

WE HAVE NO CONFERENCE LOSSES

HOW CAN WE NOT?

Wonder just how short the leash on Grossman is tonight.

Out after a "couple short drives + a pick" kind of start, or does Lovie try and ride him for the whole first half to see if can yet salvage anything before being forced to go with Griese??

Guess it all depends on what the D & STs are doing as well that will determine how long a leash Rex gets tonight.

Even though I called for his removal starting 3 games back, here's to hoping he find's the magic he had in the first few games. Could be just a bit too late to go to a new QB, hoping to find a reliable signal caller. We don't need big plays every other play or 2 either, Turner. [unless Rex is takikng it upon himself to go for the big play so often.]

Because New Orleans only has one, and in order for the tiebreaker to matter the Bears need to lose twice(they play NFC teams the remainder of the season), and the Saints need to not lose for the tiebreaker to matter. So, the Bears go 12-4 they have 2 conference losses and if the Saints go 12-4 they only have 1.

If we don't get HFA, its our own fault;

Bears' [8-0 in NFC] remaining schedule strength; (@STL 5-7, TB 3-10, @DET 2-11, & GB 5-8 = 15-36 [10-29 after tonight])

Saints' [8-1 in NFC] remaining schedule strength; (WAS 4-9, @NYG 7-6, & CAR 6-7 = 17-22)
