Holy crap, how hard is it to catch a punt?

didn't you see Goose's wind demonstration?

I don't get Fox. And if the wind is so bad, dont bother trying, just let the other team down it, especially when its at the Min 42...

You do realize we scored our touchdown on a punt return earlier, right?

Hester did. He caught the ball. Thats great, but from what I understand it could have ended up completely different. If the ball is moving sideways and you might not be able to catch it, don't try. Its a punt by punt thing.

He got it off a bounce, actually.

Yeesh. No time.

So he was patient and didnt try to catch it, but it bounced right and he could take the shot?

He wasn't able to run up to it in time, I believe. Plus it was kinda low. But since nobody was in the immediate area, there wasn't much of a risk in picking it up.

damn Rex, what the hell.

Griese would have levitated over the line and thrown a TD pass with his left hand.

would have cured Cancer while doing it.

nonono

it bounced off a guy blocking the flyer.

Oh, then in that case, Lovie should just have Urlacher throw him in a trash can for not paying attention to what the wind is doing and where the ball is going.

it was a 20 yard punt. dude, you didn't see it. nobodies really at fault on the play.

The guy who had the ball hit him is at fault.

I don't bust it out often, but

Left hand? he would have simply looked at the ball and it would have gone

Brian Griese once brought a puppy back to life with his smile.

To Brian Griese! Football's answer to Carlos Beltran!

the griese jokes are lame.

the only magical power griese might possess over grossman is the amazing ability to have a qb rating higher than zero.

Tree, the choice is between a young bad and an older, veteran bad. Why go with the older bad?

Also, he drives in runs with his facemask.

QFT

How can you possibily defend Grossman's play so far in this game, the last sack notwithstanding.

No, he's been bad. However, Griese isn't a long term answer and might not be better in the short term.

It's about degrees of bad.

because sometimes a change is in order? plus, you cant do worse than a 0 rating.

because it seems pretty reasonable that he will be less bad. if orton was starting and playing this way, would you be saying "leave him in, griese is bad too?"

I only wish Grossman was merely bad, unfortunately he has been worse than bad.

You don't think he can do better than what we are witnessing? he would not have to try too hard in order to best 3 for 9, no TDs, and two picks.

What are Rex's strengths? Strong arm is definitely one of them, no? But what good is that arm if you throw into coverage when other guys are open?
