Benson should be getting the bulk of the carries today, he has been more effective. I still don't know why they use Jones on 3rd and short and near the goal line. Jones should get the 1st shot to see if he's effective, but if by half it becomes clear that Benson's style suits the flow of the game, why be so stubborn and stick Jones out there?

 

Jones hasnt been that bad. But the game plan against a 3-4 is to run between the tackes and benson is the man for that. They are calling all the right run plays but there is a little disconnect on the correct running back for the gameplan.

 

Im really happy with the run game plan today, but the execution is even better,

Exactly, those DEs for NE are so far outside that they have to slam up the middle and it just doesn't Jones as much as Cedric.
