On the bright side, the Vikings are losing in SF 6-3 early in the 4th. They were in FG range, but Johnson coughed it up on a sack.

Time to start Benson IMO.

Benson had a couple of decent runs, but he is still not a very good pass blocker. Thomas Jones will get the start next week.

Benson picked up that blitz fine on the TD pass to MM.

I really really hate the way jones runs.

He is not the same runner he was last year. However, I still have confidence in him to get the job done.

Benson was a better pass blocker than TJ today.

Can't be worse than Thomas Jones was pass blocking today. He looked absolutely lost.

How many times did Miami blitz today? For, its becoming obvious Grossman is having trouble handling or adjusting to the blitz. I'm guessing the Giants are going to blitz, blitz and blitz some more, knowing this, let's see if Turner is worth his salt. If a team' going to blitz away there's got to be a way to beat it...

It might be me, but I didn't think the Dolphins successfully blitzed that much (a few times, yes, but it didn't seem that much more than a team normally does). I thought the OL was just getting beat no matter what.

vikings just lost

phew

well, I dont think Miami was very successful w/the blitz, but lets face it, w/o Berrian, its too easy to do...

maybe not, but its clear Grossman screws up when under pressure. The bears should look into some screen packages. They also need to run the ball better if they are going to the super bowl. grossman is not good enough to win games on his own.

Even without the blitzing, Miami's D-Line made the Bears O-Line look terrible, they just abused them, they couldn't protect Grossman and give the runners good lanes.

On the flipside, the Bears D-Line looked worse than the Bears O-Line which is saying something & why they were demolished.

The Bears have to adjust to how teams are attacking them with quick 3 step drops and quick passes.
