UNC's only win this year is an OT win over I-AA Furman.

Yeah, and yet Wake Forest trailed them in the 4th quarter, and needed to intercept a pass in the final seconds in their own red zone to hang on and beat the Heels. They only beat Duke by a point at home, for God's sakes. Wake is one of those teams that is ranked because they play in a major conference and have only 1-2 loss(es), even though their schedule has been a complete joke. They'll get exposed by BC this weekend.

Missouri/Nebraska is at 11 am on ABC.

I don't think I need to talk about how important that game is.

Winner likely gets the opportunity to get killed by Texas in the Big XII title game?

Nebraska had Texas all but beat last week.

Mizzou went to Tech and handled them on their homecoming while Texas needed a big comeback to beat them in a rivalry game. On the other hand, Texas did handle OU while Mizzou lost to them at home. Add in the fact that the game is being played in KC, I don't think that either team will get humiliated if they play Texas(who could lose the South if aTm wins their rivalry game).

It's not going to be nearly as bad as last year's Big XII title game but I still think Texas will win easily.

It won't be as good either simply because I am not going to be at this years either. I have never been a college blowout like than one before, and I enjoyed every minute of last years :-)

The computer rankings have ND at #5. Yet, the ridiculous polls continue to keep us down at the #10 range. I think the computer rankings have it about right:

1. Michigan

2. OSU

3. Cal

4. Florida

5. Notre Dame

6. USC

7. Auburn

8. Rutgers

9. Louisville

10. Tennessee

11. Boise State

12. Texas

Are you being sarcastic? If not, the computers are so wrong is so many ways it's not even funny. Don't get me wrong, I love that Cal actually gets some respect but please.

I don't think ND deserves to be that high, although there are some teams above them in the polls that are getting a free pass. Texas is a great example of that-they also got blown out against one of the top 2 teams at home, and have struggled mightily against a couple of the only decent teams they played. I'm not saying that Texas should necessarily be below ND, but I think they have had very similar seasons-and it is kind of interesting how there is a big gap between them in the polls.

I, for one, would like to see Rutgers play Boise St. for the National Championship

On the blue field too right.

I would alternate blue and red every five yards, plus sell advertising every 10 yards. And nuts to this new field turf....I want the old Astrodome style painted concrete

I can hardly wait for the Ohio State vs. West Virginia/Louisville national championship game. It should be a barn burner.

Keep waiting. Ohio State aint gonna play them for the NC

But yeah, i know what you are saying. WV has no shot at NC, their defense is awful and will get rolled against a good team offensive. Their offense would not blow up against a good defense either. OSU or UM defense will stomp on that one dimensional run oriented spread offense.

Did you see the Sugar Bowl last year? Georgia was 11th in total defense and 4th in scoring defense but WVU torched them for 500 yards and 38 points. Don't get me wrong, I would pick OSU/Michigan over WVU but I wouldn't count them out. Same goes for Louisville who actually has a better all around offense than WVU does.

If UK could beat a mediocre Georgia team, they will likely get to a bowl game. I doubt it'll happen as UGA is still better than UK, but they can be taken.

I'd love to see it happen.

PSU V Wisc.

Penn State is better than being a non 25 team. Wisconsin's lone loss is to Michigan. PSU's 3 are to Ohio State/Michigan/Notre Dame. Nothing for either of these teams to be ashamed of. Wisconsing has better balance on offense but the defense edge goes to PSU.

I take it you haven't looked at Wisconsins schedule?

Wisconsin's schedule is not very impressive, but with a very young team they have been playing well. Other than their loss to Michigan (whom they played even for the first half) They have beaten every other team they have played in the big 10 by at least 14 points, with the exception of the 10 point game against Illinois this past weekend in which they came back from a 14 point deficit in the second half. The funny thing is even if they run the table the rest of the way to finish 11-1, they won't even get a BCS bowl.

I think Wisconsin has the better defense than Penn St. Badgers are only giving up an ave of like 250 yds. a game in total offense. and are in the top 5 nationally against the pass.

Yeah that was pretty impressive......for the first half. After the half didnt WVU score like 7 points and almost blow the game. Obviously Georgia was no slouch last year and am not trying to discredit their first half either, but they are awfully one dimensional. I cant speak to how well Georgia's run defense was last year but from what i remember their dline wasnt all that impressive in that game. Michigan is exceptionally strong on the front 4 and OSU has really improved that aspect of their game as the seasons progressed.

I agree with a healthy Brohm i give the Louisville offense the edge because they have a better balanced offense.

You guys have to put some umph into that schedule of yours. You do have a good young team and I think this game is going to be a field postion type battle with Penn State.

Yep, and then watch GT go in to Athens 9-2, ranked around #10, and lose. That's ok though, it'll be good practice for the ACC Championship Game and hopefully a BCS berth...

TBA and GamePlans updated. Also, Oklahoma/A&M is now at 8 pm.

Anyone else think this multiple Saturday Night games thing is getting a tad out of hand with three this week?
