I konw exactly what you are saying. I was seriously turned off of the Cubs this year. I really quit paying attention in June. I have been so far removed from baseball that it really didn't affect me when the Cards won, even though I live 20 minutes from ST. Louis. Also during the world series I couldn't fathom peoples excitement for baseball, even though I shared their same excitement back in 2003. This season has completely ruined Cubs baseball for me.

Halloween party. Waaaay too many jeager bombs (sp?) and Dos Equis. I went as a dog (I was also wearing a Cubs hat) and took a lot of crap from a card fan also in attendance. He was obnoxious and probably never figured out how a cigarette butt ended up in his beer.

I blame my father for me being a cubs fan. He took me to games all my life. Every year I blame him for this curse. He's actually stopped following the cubs and going to games...
