Is there a good smartphone app to browse/post nsbb easier? Or is that something that would need to be activated on the server?

I vote for this if it isn't already available.

I'll reiterate that I'd like to see embedded vids

Yeah yeah. And we'll all reiterate our objections to it. Do we need to keep having that conversation?

Can we add a link to the front page somewhere on the boards? Either on the logo or board title or something.

Which style do you use on the board? I thought I had links to the front page on all of them.

Is there a way in the CP that I'm not seeing that allows the ability for links posted within the threads to open up in a new tab/window? I always get frustrated when i open a link, read it, then close out of that tab to get back to NSBB, but then realize it didn't open up in a new tab, and I closed out of the NSBB window. Just curious

I don't know how to do this in the interface, but you can always open any link in a new browser window by holding down the ctrl key when you click the link.

Yeah I know, and I try and do that most of the time, but I forget more often than not. Oh well, no worries. Just curious if there was a way to automate it

This is standard browsing procedure for me in general. What did I do before tabbed browsing?

Proposed board rule: Random twitter posts are not newsworthy.

They're probably more newsworthy than probably 75% of the posts on the board.

That's not a rule proposal.

Proposed board rule: jersey cubs fan's butt stinks, and he has a big butt, and he likes to smell his own butt

It's probably too much trouble, but an "+1" upvote (and maybe downvote?) counter option on posts would be fun. Kind of like RealGM. But I have no idea if something like that is easy to put in or requires a whole new software outlay.

Upvote, yes

Downvote would be a terrible idea on this particular forum

Yeah, I just threw that in there because it would be hilarious to see for a few posters. But probably bad for the board.

In addition to being plain fun, I think it would clear up some clutter too. IE: a funny gif is posted and you get like 5 straight "hahaha's" quoting the post. Upvotes would be easier.
