I almost want the committee to screw ND over and give them a 6 - avoid the dreaded 5/12 game and keep the 1 seed on the opposite side of the bracket.

I really wanted the Big East title :( but at least we're in the tourney

Woa, I figured Illinois was getting blown out judging by the Illini fans' posts. Illinois is up 3.

Yeah, we're up. That's been the story of the season. In eight of our 10 losses we had the lead in the second half. This has been a very frustrating season and if Shaun Pruitt picks up his fourth we will be in trouble.

Had a post about KSU I was writing up but had to delete it to say WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT???

DJ White falling down ackwards into Carter and somehow foul on Carter. Isn't there some pesky thing in the rules about being under control on offense??

I'm beginning to think that the winner of the Illinois/Indiana game will be the fourth and last Big Ten team invited.

Which 4? IU is already safely in, and so most likely is Mich State. If Illinois wins, they'll be 5, and Purdue still has a chance to make it 6.

Anyway, the disparity between the Big 12 North and South was HUGE this year, that's why KSU is still a bubble team. They got 2 games each against CU, ISU, Nebraska, and Mizzou

The four teams who make it to the semis. I'm not sure Mich.State gets in and if Indiana loses tonight, at best they're one of the last teams in, barring some other team like Baylor winning their conference tourney.

Beating Texas in Austin, to me, is a better resume than our resume or Indiana's.

Baylor still up 18 over Texas. Texas will likely make a run sometime, but I wonder if Baylor will be able to withstand it. And even if Texas wins, how much energy will they have tomorrow afternoon?

whats with the passed out old guy? that was funny.

these are two very mediocre teams. one will be much better next year, one probably won't. :x

They've also lost to 3 terrible teams of which no Big 10 bubble team has.

I've looked at all the different sites that you can, and I haven't seen anyone that says IU is in any danger even with a loss. The key is that IU's losses are all so good-single digit losses (except for 1 game) against good teams. There isn't a single bad loss on the resume, and a couple really good wins (Wisconsin, Southern Illinois) to go with pretty good wins like splitting with Mich State, Purdue, and Illinois. Their schedule strength is also pretty high-I don't see any way they miss the tournament at this point.

Against any other team these stupid IU fouls would kill them. Against us, it's a great defensive strategy.

I can't remember the last time we made four consecutive free throws.

what do you guys think of a coach's influence on their teams foul troubles? it seems weber's UI teams have always had a bunch of guys in trouble in big games, and he walks around with a woe is me face like we're being persecuted. augustine and randle have been infuriating in this regard.

I see there's quite a discrepancy in the number of foul shots between the two teams (actually with our pitiful FT shooting I'm glad we've only had 9 foul shots). Is it justified?

Don't be so negative UI fans, with Eric Gordon you should be pretty tough next year.

I'm guessing this is a joke

Let's ignore the [expletive] game for a second and show the brackets for no apparent reason rather than replay the touch foul that just knocked Randle from the game. Jesus, I hate ESPN.
