They definitely are-they've been much better recently.

 

Michigan State officially lost their chance for a bye in the BTT with that loss. In fact, I think the best they can finish is 7th now, and possibly 8th if Michigan somehow upsets OSU (I think Purdue would win any ties over MSU or Michigan).

 

IU might have the 3 seed locked up already, and they certainly will if they beat PSU today. Then you could see a 3 way tie for 4-6, and I'll wait till after the Purdue game to see the tiebreakers there.

Didn't get the game here in Topeka, but it seemed like another Illinois road game --- has lead can't hold it because they can't shoot and can't hit free throws. Some of the highlights I've seen showed McBride holding Haluska. I hope that wasn't the case the whole game. If so, I see why Haluska scored 26. All I can say is thank goodness we didn't play in Columbus or in Madison this year.

Eh, I predicted they'd lose this game beforehand (I also predicted they'd lose at Stanford and West Virginia). Not shocking, they had an emotional win and clinched the conference on Thursday, they're playing in a tough arena against a much-improved team that will make a run in the Pac-10 tourney.

 

It'd be nice to win this one because I really want to see the Bruins in Sacramento and San Jose.

 

ETA: Darren, you're 1/12 shooting. If I can suggest something, don't take a shot unless it's a wide open layup.

Didn't get the game here in Topeka, but it seemed like another Illinois road game --- has lead can't hold it because they can't shoot and can't hit free throws. It was our team under Weber with his own recruits again. We had no offense and let a Chicago kid, who suprise we didn't get make two threes to beat us. I almost hope we miss the tournament. I want Bruce Weber gone, he has taken a top ten program and turned us into this. He has no control over his players, he can't recruit, and he has no idea how to coach an offense. Here's a novel thought, recruit someone who can go one on one. You know that way you don't have to heave a 30 footer at the end of the shot clock on every key posession.
