Heat are the champs, and fully back now. Wade will not be the hobbled player everyone wants you to think he is.

We could very well lose this opening round series. After what I saw tonight? Very possible.

Yes, it could. Anything can happen. I'll judge the Bulls by how they played the rest of the year. Not one game on the road in New Jersey. It's going to be a tough series, but I think the Bulls are a better team.

the good news is that tonight's game was an aberration compared to the rest of the 2nd half of the year

I have a feeling we take down the first 2 series' in the Eastern Conference and then get waxed in the Eastern Conference Championship or the NBA finals. (Thus simultaneously exceeding expectations and dissapointing, like if they beat the Pistons in a 7 game series and then proceed to lose to the Cav's or something)

Still doesn't make me happy about not taking down the 2 seed. These guys just don't want to make it any easier on themselves do they? They can never play when they are the ones expecting to win, they can only play well when their backs are against the wall and they are just about to bumped off.

I really, really hate the Heat. Look forward to ending their season.

Exactly.

A series with the Heat is much more exciting than one with Orlando, Washington, or New Jersey.

When will we find out when the Bulls first game is?

Also, do we know how many lottery balls we'll be receiving with the Knicks pick? The Knicks beat Charlotte by a point tonight.

I disagree. We beat all the teams we were supposed to down the stretch minus the Nets.

Cubs lose, Bulls lose, and now I'll I'm gonna hear the next few days is about Beurhle's no-hitter. What a terrible day.

By the way, screw the NBA's seeding system. How can anyone defend that mess?

Bastards.

Yeah, that sucks more than losing the game to NJ. I'm still pissed about that 3 Eddie pulled out of his ass against the Bucks a couple of weeks ago.

He had the game-winning tip today.

i gotta say i don't see the bulls beating the heat. heat in 5.

They will have no one to blame but themselves. You have to beat a team like the Nets. D Wade usually doesn't play well in Chicago at least.

No way. If we somehow beat Miami and the refs, then beat Detroit and the refs, we're winning the East title. I'm certain of it. Even if we have to beat Cleveland and the refs to do it.

Well, originally I was real upset that we lost. But then Washington won which meant that if we won, we would've had to play the Nets in the 1st round.

I like our chances much more against Miami than NJ. We did win 3 of 4 against the Heat in the regular season. If we win 3 of the first 4 against Miami in this series, it'll be ours.

That is true. However, we did spank NJ last week at home. I think tonight was just one of those games where the Bulls didn't play well in on the road. We don't match up real good with NJ though, that's for sure. However, I'd rather have NJ/TOR than MIA/DET (no home court)

Is there a reason for that?

Yeah they are better than us. That and they have DWade, who in the playoffs gets fouls called for him in the pregame warmup. We are like the Mariners were a few years ago, built for the regular season. We just don't have that go to guy who can get his own one on one and in the NBA playoffs you need that.

So you're also a Heat in 5 guy?

That's to be expected. A 3 to send a game into overtime? Not so much.
