Do the Knicks have any offensive rebounds at all? This team has no passion, teamwork, or patience. And they aren't that far out of the playoffs either. (East :? )

I was worried about the possibility of the Raptors sneaking up behind us in the playoff seeding, but they still have Detroit twice so we should be O.k.

Wow, just tuned in, the Knicks playing extremely ugly, selfish basketball.

We win this game, we're one step closer to that 2 seed, something I didn't think we were going to even touch earlier this year.

If the Knicks lose tonight and one other game the Bulls have the option of getting their lottery pick right?

The Bulls have had the right to swap picks with the Knicks all season. NY could win out -- they won't -- and their pick still belongs to the Bulls.

Right. But all teams that miss the playoffs get in the lottery right? I am more concerned with the lottery pick.

So the Nets beat the Wizards tonight to pull within two games of sixth place. I would love for the Bulls to get the two seed and play the punchless Wizards instead of New Jersey. I would like to see this happen.

As of right now if the Bulls land in second place ESPN has them playing the Nets. Is that correct?

As of now, it is. But the Wizards are reeling while the Nets have been playing better as of late. The Nets own the tiebreaker on the Wiz too, if I'm not mistaken. I really hope that they can overtake the Wizards for 6th.

And just like that the Knicks slide into the 8 spot, could go as low as 5 (I don't think the Hawks will pass them).

If only Milwaukee won that game on Saturday...

It looks like the Knicks could drop as low as the fifth worst record if everything goes right. Come on Knicks, keep on tanking you jerks.

Yes, all teams that miss the playoffs are in the lottery, and the Knicks have been a likely lottery team for the past few weeks at least.

Is there any chance that Paxson decides not to switch picks with the Knicks?

He would be a fool to(not switch picks this year). This is the best draft since 03 IMO.

They've really tanked it out after a decent mid-season.

looking at a draft site...

They have the Bulls taking Nicolas Batum....who the heck is that? Pick doesn't make sense considering we got Thabo last draft.....They have Noah falling pretty far....not really a fan of his game, but he would have to be considered if around when the Bulls are up.

Sounds like exactly what the Bulls need. A swing man who won't be able to crack the floor for two years.

That site has the Bulls passing Spencer Hawes for a swingman. Goodbye legitimacy.

I know Hawes most likely won't make a huge impact his rookie season, but he's a high ceiling LEGIT Center who should be ready to be an impact player by the time Ben's contract is approaching its end.

ETA: I'd like to see the Bulls employ a draft strategy I've seen the Spurs use: draft young, raw, foreigners in the second round so you can stash them away on your roster for a couple years. Worked like a charm for Tony Parker, Manu, and could have Udrih and Scola if given the chance.

They still have Mahinmi somewhere. Long term projects who could pay major dividends for a low risk and someone who likely wouldn't make your team anyway (I'm looking at you Carl Landry.)
