Reds hired Thom Brennaman to do radio and tv today. He'll team with Marty on select games on the radio. They are increasing their tv schedule on FSN Ohio from 100 to 145. Good for us who live in this area as that means there is a greater chance of all the Cubs-Reds games being on.

Maybe this opens the door for Arizona to go with a whole new broadcast booth, paving the way for Grace to return to the Cubs while Brenly takes a managing job elsewhere.

I've always liked Thom Brennaman and thought he did a great job when he did the NLCS in 2003.

Agreed.

Thom Brennaman and Steve Stone would make a great combination in the broadcast booth.

Been there, done that. Let's not do it again.

Now there's a fascination with Grace. Can't Cub fans let go of former players?

Grace is not a good color analyst.

Being a big Sosa for manager guy I'd have to say I have no idea what your talking about DAL GREEN or does that just count for former players?. :D

Touche. However, I'm not a Dallas Green for GM fan.

Why not?

Maybe I'm nostalgic because Thom and Steve would take the middle innings back in the days when I was a kid and WGN showed every game and Harry was still alive, but I always liked them together.
