MSN Passport Login?

I'm getting an MSN Passport login pop-up when opening some threads. It doesn't happen frequently, but I have seen it from time to time for quite a while now, enough to become a mild annoyance.

 

This recent thread produces the problem. Just a hunch, but I think it's related to someone's off-site avatar image hosting, and not adware/spyware or NSBB-installed advertising. By scanning the avatar links of posters in there, I think I've found the cause, but I don't want to assume anything.

 

Is anyone else getting this?

I am. It's SammyWho's avatar that is the culprit. I've actually had this problem for quite some time, but didn't think to mention it until I realized I wasn't the only one.

I see the red x, but if you right-click on it and then click on properties, the URL shown is an MSN users' site.

It happened to me as well. It opens up a window to put in a username and password for http://www.msnusers.com.

Yeah, I had seen it a while back and now it's happening again.

 

I'm just glad to know it's not my own computer acting crazy.

The problem should be corrected now. I sent a PM to SAMMYWHO suggesting that he upload the image to an image hosting site such as Photobucket and link there instead of to MSN.
