What happened? Please don't tell me another pitcher just went down to injury?!??! Rothschild HAS TO GO NOW!!

Line drive off his hand. Don't shoot Rothschild for this one, eh?

Too a liner off his forearm I think. Certainly not as hard as Prior's liner last year, but still bad enough to make h im leave the game

how did Jones get doubled off again? i just started listening to the game and missed it. lol

Barrett popped out to the second baseman in shallow right field. Jones, thinking the ball would not be caught, was standing on 2b, and was easily thrown out.

Haha. Thanks, Fred.

Actually, it was much worst, Jones stopped, watched, and then took off despite the fact that it was perfectly catchable.

And then he made an error and of course pegged the ball into the ground. Honestly, he looks like a little leaguer playing baseball for the first time.

Oh, and I'm guessing that Rusch will see time today.

Finally, if we lose today, which is looking more and more likely, we would have won 2 games in the last 2 weeks. Bravo Cubs.

The last hit was a line to Mateo, according to gamecast, which makes me think he was hit by the ball.

Jacque Jones is consistent.
