seeing Friday is the 1st of Sept, its time to put the cubs shirts away and bring out the bears

 

The way the Bears camp has unfolded, by Oct 1 it may be time to put on the Bulls shirts

I think you might be right. I'm worried.

 

EDIT: Actually, let me add to that..I felt that it was very Pompus of Angelo to get rid of our 1st round pick and draft Manning and a punt returner with our 2nd rounders. I felt that we could have gotten Chad Jackson (WR) and a TE in the 2nd round. Just a terrible move IMO.

There is no reason to put the only reliable pitcher you have left in the game to pinch hit...especially after a start the day previously.

Burnitz singled to right field

Nady flied out to deep center field

Doumit walked , Burnitz to second

Castillo singled to center field , Burnitz scored, Doumit to third

Santos bunted for an IF single to the pitcher , Doumit scored, Castillo to second

Duffy lined out to second base

Novoa in (4th) to pitch, Mabry in (9th) at 1b for the CUBS

Bautista struck out swinging
