RHP Jose Ceda, acquired for Todd Walker, was promoted from Mesa to Boise and will start for the Hawks. Ceda's 52 strikeouts were good for 4th in the AZL, despite having at least 20 fewer innings than the three guys in front of him.

Tune in as E-Patt leads Iowa to yet another victory...

w/Eric: 5-0

w/o: 63-64

Basically, having him on your team is the difference between going undefeated, and being a below .500 club.

Congratulations to Ceda! He certainly looks promising so far.

Probable Starters:

Peoria: RHP Mitch Atkins

Nope. They shook everything up with the two off days getting the rotation set for the playoffs.

Jimenez today

Friday: Blackford

Saturday: Taylor

Sunday: Atkins

Monday: Either Santo or Estrada

Repeat. This sets Atkins up for game 1...Taylor for Game 2 beacuse of another off day coming up

Peoria wins 3-2! Chiefs only had 5 hits, but Reynolds solo homer proved to be the difference in the game.

At this rate Felix might be at a .780 OPS by morning.

1.009 OPS for Felix in August.

Ceda has a rough 4th inning, giving up a HBP (he wouldn't be a Boise pitcher if he didn't hit someone), a walk and a 3-run HR before getting out of the inning. :(

4 IP, 3 ER, 2 H, 1 BB, 1 HBP, 4 K.

Boise is up 7-3.
