That's just horrible defending. How do Arsenal continue to shoot themselves in the foot in the back?

I'm starting to lose some faith in Wenger, at some point he has to learn from his mistakes. Has he ever replaced Vieira?

I know he'd rather win his way than any other, but at some point you have to open the checkbook and buy a keeper, or a central defender who can actually defend. That team is one player away from basically being unstoppable.

And that's the part that drive's me nuts, and instead ManU is going to win the league. Szczesny I think will be good but he's 20. Rosicky is garbage, and I would love for them to put a Bradley or J. Jones in the back behind Cesc or Wilshire. I think they feature the smallest front 7 in all of Europe. And get two Central Defenders behind him. Wenger might be getting paid as the team accountant as well, I'm not sure as to why they have half of the defenders on this roster.

The EPL just got a little more interesting. Arsenal can close within a point with a win at home v Sunderland. Considering I am not expecting much good to come out at the Nou Camp on Tuesday they need to take care of business at home injured or not. Chamakh or Arshavin will have to step it up with van Persie out almost a month.

Arsenal is ticking me off. I got them at I believe 8-1 to win the league when I was in Vegas last summer and they continually either a)blow easy opportunities to go top or b)stay just close enough that I can't throw out the ticket.

Just looking at there schedule they have dropped 3 points to West Albion, 2 points to Newcastle (up 4-0), 1 or 3 points to Tottenham (up 2-0), and 2 points to Wigan. They really have no excuse for not leading by at least 5 points.

To be fair, Man U blew leads at Fulham, home to West Brom, at Everton, at Birmingham and lost at 18th-place Wolves. Nothing like blowing a four-goal lead to Newcastle but they did give up two in injury time to Everton and dropped points are dropped points, no matter how it happens. That's either 9 or 11 points dropped (depending on the result at Wolves) so they could have the title all but wrapped up if those games go differently.

Thats true but they should receive a 10 point reduction cause Rooney is a douche.

The most difficult part of the Arsenal thing is that this is the year. They haven't won a trophy in what? 6 years? We just saw how they couldn't get out of their own way last weekend, but even more significant is their missteps in the league. United has less talent than they've had in maybe 5-6 years, Chelsea is old and looks uninterested and Arsenal's long-vaunted youth are all grown up. THIS IS THE YEAR. They'll never have an easier path to the title than now. City will get better, Chelsea will get better and as long as SAF is around, United will get better. How on earth can they blow this opportunity over something as stupid as Wenger's stubbornness? Give them a real keeper and replace Koscielney with David Luiz and they are winning this thing.

So FIFA ended up making no changes to the number of spots each confederation gets in 2014...and almost immediately Chuck Blazer said that CONCACAF is going to reconsider their new qualifying schedule because of potential fixture congestion ahead of the .5 playoff spot (which will now be a "random" draw instead of our .5 vs CONMEBOL's .5.

Meaning the Hex might not get ditched after all, meaning all the [expletive] that Jack Warner pulled ahead of the 2018/2022 decisions (MLS going to a winter/spring calander, the idiotic new qually format, and god knows what else) might all end up not happening.

Do they mean random draw as in some extra team (the next one out) from each confederation will be up for the draw and they'll pick two to play each other?

As long as they keep the Hex and ensure us playing Mexico twice in qualifying each cycle, that's all I care about.

Yeah instead of Concavaf's 4th place team playing Conmebol's 5th place they could draw the team from Africa or wherever.

It'll be four teams: CONMEBOL 5th place, CONCACAF 4th place, AFC 5th place and OFC 1st place.

Kuyt with a "right place at the right time" hat trick. I believe it was Suarez that set up the last 2 goals and a United defender gave him the first.

The lead up to the second goal from Suarez was beautiful. It was going in off a United defender had Kuyt not knocked it into the back of the net, too.
