I'm not sure if it was a free preview or something but Directv had a ton of free, Europa league games on today in HD. They even had a game mix channel to take them all in. All they games were on channels in the 460s.

They did it for the Champions League which is awesome, so I am guessing/hoping it will remain free for the remainder of the year.

Wow, I definitely missed that. I'm going to have to tune in next time.

Fernando Torres is kind of good.

Yeah that first goal was a thing of beauty. Liverpool's defense especially on set pieces is brutal right now though.

Carragher was awful.

Carragher has been awful for 3 years now.

I have zero idea how, despite the fact that Ben Foster looks horrid, Rio missed 4 games or whatever, and without any semblance of a central midfield, United have managed to win these games.

Its Sir Alex. It has to be.

I do, however, enjoy the whole Michael Owen thing.

It's absolutely incredible. When they showed the rosters pregame I thought to myself, wow, that's not a good team. Yet somehow they pulled it out. They are a really unimpressive squad. Foster is a joke. I think it's down to Sir Alex, Rooney seemingly deserving his reputation and luck. I love Anderson though. One of my favorite players these days.

I don't think it's too early to predict Chelsea and Barcelona are the two best squads in the world. Chelsea were almost flawless against Spurs. A well-oiled machine.

Looks like Craig Bellamy could be missing some time in the future.

Hahaha, what a jag! Not only does he have a tough enough mountain to climb for playing time on a squad with Robinho, Tevez, Santa Cruz and Adebayor, but then he does something like that.

Both of his goals vs. United were great too, then he does this.

And that's why Craig Bellamy's career is what it is. He's a total douche.

Wow Bellamy escapes with just a warning. I'm a little shocked at this.

FIFA is looking into moving the Hondurus match to a neutral site, I doubt it would happen but the fact that they are looking into says something. That would be a huge break even though the match would still probably be somewhere in Central America.

If they move the game, it's going to be decided this weekend, and its gonna go to Guatemala, Miami, Cancun (Atalante's stadium) or Chicago.

My money, fwiw, is on Chicago. Just a gut feeling.

All 4 of those sites would allow Honduras to outdraw the US. Well maybe not Chicago, but it would be close.

Chicago wouldn't be close. They'd get outdrawn 4-1. it just happened this summer.
