He's been amazing this past year in his development. Couldn't make the U20 roster for the WC, made the Olympic team but barely played, now is a key figure/starter on the Senior team.

Oh yes he could have. Thomas Rongen's selection for that tournament was disgraceful. Subotic and Davies would have easily been first choice players in that squad.

Didn't they just re-up Deuce's contract and make him one of their highest paid players? I think they will find a place for him to play.

Hodgson isn't stupid. He'll play. I'm excited because it means one of two things. He'll either move inside where I think he'd be fantastic or Gera will be benched and he'll start on the right which is where he plays for us. Either way I think this is a good move for us.
