Drogba had an amazing chance off a long ball but blew it with a terrible first touch in the box.

he's been in subpar form all season and today just magnifies it. he might as well be heading to milan right now, if he's going to continue playing like today's effort.

soloman kalou has been pretty terrible too.

At least both sides are playing hard. Despite the scoreless tie, it's been an entertaining game so far.

You can't blame Drogba for blowing that chance in the 55th minute. He was decked before he could get the shot off.

Superb header by Sagna and if Arsenal can hold on, this would be a great win for them.

Wow, how things have changed in this game. A few minutes ago Chelsea was on its way to a loss which would have put a huge dent in their title chances. Now they're eight minutes away from going ahead of Arsenal in the standings.

And Man U is eight minutes away from being five points clear at the top.

78 straight games without a loss in the EPL at Stamford Bridge for Chelsea. That's amazing. They haven't lost at home since Feb. 21, 2004 which was a 2-1 loss to Arsenal.

Classic Drogs was back in the second half. He missed the hat trick by a foot.

Also, was I drunker than I thought last night, or did OleMissCub have an Alecko Eskandarian pic in his sig?

Kind of an obscure player to sig.

Red Card[/url]"]Good news, Chicago. Barcelona is in talks to visit the Windy City this summer.

Bad news, Fire fans. Barca would likely face an international opponent and not the Fire, according to a source.

The match would be held at Soldier Field and would likely take place a few days before or after Aug. 7, which is when Barcelona is in talks to play the New York Red Bulls at Giants Stadium.

Last week, Barcelona spokesman Jose Miguel Teres confirmed to the New York Times that a U.S. tour is in the works.

"We are almost sure we will go to the States," Teres said. "It is 99 percent, unless something strange happens. Probably Chicago and New York, but it is not confirmed, we are now finishing the contracts."

Should the Barcelona game happen, it would mark Ronaldinho's second visit to Chicago in less than a year. The soccer icon helped Brazil defeat the United States 4-2 on Sept. 9 at Soldier Field.

If Ronaldinho is with Barca by the time this game happens, I will be beyond shocked. He hasn't even made the squad the last two games. He isn't injured either.

Btw, USS, the Game is on FSC Wednesday at 3:30 est.

The EPL race should be good the last few weeks. Here is the remaining schedule for each team with each opponents place in the EPL and points in parenthesis:

Man U Arsenal Chelsea
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
vs Aston Villa (7th, 49) at Bolton (18th, 26) vs Middlesbrough (12th, 34)
at Middlesbrough (12th, 34) vs Liverpool (4th, 59) at Man City (9th, 49)
vs Arsenal (3rd, 67) at Man U (1st, 73) vs Wigan (14th, 31)
at Blackburn (8th, 49) vs Reading (15th, 31) at Everton (5th, 57)
at Chelsea (2nd, 68) at Derby (20th, 10) vs Man U (1st, 73)
vs West Ham (10th, 44) vs Everton (5th, 57) at Newcastle (13th, 32)
at Wigan (14th, 31) at Sunderland (16th, 30) vs Bolton (18th, 26)

Arsenal clearly has the easiest road with four games agaisnt the bottom six teams and they also get Liverpool and Everton at home. The problem is, they play at Old Trafford and if they lose that game, it won't matter what they do in the other six. Even if they tie they would still need to make up six points in six games which is a tough task.

Man U has the toughest road with five of their seven games against teams in the top half of the table. Their big one comes at Chelsea. Tie that one and they're in good shape but if they lose it, then things get interesting. Obviously if they win that one the race is all but over but considering Chelsea hasn't lost a home game in the EPL in four years, I wouldn't count on a win here. The plus for them is that they have a five point lead to work with.

Chelsea isn't in bad shape as their key game against Man U is at Stamford Bridge. Their schedule isn't as easy as Arsenal's is but it's much easier than Man U. To win the title they're going to need Man U to slip up.

I think Man U is going to effectively knock Arsenal out of the EPL race with a win at Old Trafford in a couple weeks and then it will come down to the Man U-Chelsea match in the third-to-last game week. In the end, I'd say that Man U will hold on to the EPL title for another year with Chelsea second and Arsenal third.

SAF teams are great front runners. They aren't going to choke it away. Chelsea will need to win out to have a chance.

Barring an injury to Soccer Jesus, Man U is winning the EPL at least 5 points clear. And I'd put money on Everton being the 4th CL team.
