Thanks, Poland.

I hate those rankings, but there is no real way to do it outside of having people vote. Not that I would trust the people of FIFA to any kind of vote either.

I wouldn't trust Sepp Blatter to park my car.

I trust him to screw any English speaking nation. That's about it though.

Oh God, no. There's no way you could trust them.

Just do an ELO system like in chess, rather than the garbage they currently have. I particularly don't like the regional strength aspect of it (Regional strength -- Based on results in last three FIFA World Cups (wins per confederation per match)).

Get ready for another EXCITING Liverpool v Chelsea series!

Damn Arsenal are really taking this season down the crapper. Well not really given how they have far exceeded initial expectations, but still. If they can get one last away goal.

I'm guessing game cast is lagging, went from 2-1 to 3-2 in a matter of minutes. Looks like it might be an instant classic though.

Unreal finish 4-2. I need to watch this sometime soon, and I forgot to dvr it. Hopefully Liverpool and Gerrard can take it again now. Getting 3 English teams in the semi's would be pretty sweet despite my hatred for Manu and Chelsea.

It was a pretty entertaining final 20 minutes or so - basically after Torres netted the second goal and ensured that we wouldn't see extra time.

I have my own good news: I'm cleared to play again. The last couple of months I've been plagued by a combined median/brachial plexus issue stemming from two injuries sustained in one indoor game. The first was a one-handed save I made on an incredibly hard shot from about 8 feet (sometimes making a lucky save isn't a good thing). It numbed my hand immediately, and compressed the median nerve areas in my hand. The second was a real poor sportsmanship injury. A player on the opposing team grabbed my arm about halfway through my throwing motion. The braxial plexus stretched, and I'm lucky I didn't separate or dislocate my shoulder.

It'll take another 3-5 months for it to completely heal. In the mean time, I can play, but I will get periodic numbness shooting down my arm into my hand.

Check out this upcoming stretch for Man U:

April 13: vs. Arsenal

April 19: at Blackburn

April 23: at Barcelona

April 26: at Chelsea

April 29: vs. Barcelona

The easiest game is against Blackburn and they're currently in eighth place in the Premier League.

That TV schedule sucks on all kinds of levels. I mean, when the US plays Barbados (or some other CONCACAF crap) it gets shown live on ESPN or ESPN2 but we can't get any of these matches live on one of those two channels?

That was an unreal ending.

I was so mad watching it. Not because of the whole having to score in the final three minutes of extra time even though we were up a man for 115 minutes thing, but because Christian Miles is the worst commentator I've ever heard.

Luca's strike to tie it with literally two seconds left and it sounded like he was reading from a cue card and could care less about anything going on in the game.

"aaaand luca toni with the header to tie it up. Bayern advances to the semi final round after a late comeback. Oliver Kahn looks like he can't believe it."

The amount of American commentators I enjoy listening too is very very small.

huge, huge 2-0 away win for fulham today at reading. they're still in trouble but they have a fighting chance to get out of the top 3.

Clint started and played 85 as the attacking mid. Was subbed for Boca when they wanted to dig in and play for the points. I don't think it is a coincidence that they win when they have McBride, Bullard and Dempsey starting together and Boazza and Eddie Johnson nowhere near the squad.

It's all but official, Ronaldinho to AC Milan is happening. That is a crowded midfield. I'm sure Dunga is unbelievably happy with this turn of events. Kaka, dinho and Pato playing and training together.

and it look like milan will get sheva back. :beg: hopefully it's actually for some cash, and not just on loan.

i read a story this morning about drogba moving to real madrid.

I think Drogba will go wherever Jose ends up.

Either way, it's going to be a big summer transfer window for both my teams.

Anything less than a Dutch Euro Championship will be a disappointing summer for me, they are due for a major trophy. I don't really see Arsenal making any big moves over the summer.

I did find thins interesting.

0-0 man utd.-arsenal at half time.

1-1 in the 53rd. adebayor and a ronaldo pk from a gallas handball.

That was not a fair result. Man U was outplayed. Ronaldo looked hung over most of the game-his touch was not there and he made poor decisions, often going 1v2 or 1v3. Rooney played very well.

Bendtner should have scored twice in the last 15 minutes. Adebayor squandered chances in the first half, too.
