Dudes, Freddy Adu is really fun to watch. I can't wait until he is on a team that will show every weekend here in the states.

 

The US U-20 vs Poland game is still what I think of with Adu.

 

Damn tv box isn't working so missing tonights game.

We are dominating possession. Altidore has had some chances, one great one that was amazingly saved by the keeper on a ball lofted by Freddy. Freddy is by miles and miles the best player on the ball in the game. Canada hasn't come close to threatening, but are basically playing 10 behind the ball, so we are going to need to capitalize on all our chances.

 

AND AS I TYPE A GENIUS FREE KICK FROM FREDDY!

 

What the hell kind of swerve was that?!

 

That was wizardry.

Jozy challenges what was basically a 25-75 ball on the keeper who deservedly gave him a kick. Jozy gets up and shoves him.

 

Ehhh...Jozy easily could've gotten a yellow on the challenge and a red on the shove. Unless the keeper dropped something racial on him, that was not worth it.

 

No cards issued, they are going to let them play.

Right wing right on top of the box. Kljestan drew a man off the wall on his run and Freddy swerved it in, bounced in the box and whizzed off into the opposite direction into the net.

 

Edit - I'm not Christian Miles. I'll never call a missed shot "genius" lol. 1-0 to us Yanks.

The black on Canada's kit doesn't look that good. It almost looks like they're wearing training jerseys.

It was Adu. It will more than likely be all March Madness, all the time on SC. It'll be youtubed no doubt. Another free kick coming.
