Michael Bradley scores his 13th league goal and 16th overall against league leaders PSV Eindhoven today.

I want to know what they do there that his dad isn't having US do to make him look so good. I think a lot of his poor performance Wednesday was due to constantly having to cover for Convey and Corrales on the left side, but his form in club play has been ridiculous.

Also having to cover for Rico Clark, who was rusty, didn't help. Still, I expected more.

Sevilla-Barcelona on Gol TV. Ronaldinho drinking a freaking pepsi on the bench.

ha ha...he might as well be holding up a sign that says "please come and get me, milan."

Unfortunately I have a hunch it'll be our Chelsea.

I hope I'm wrong. That Pepsi wasn't diet.

it's amazing how far he's fallen in such a short time. leading up the '06 world cup, he was arguably the best in the world. now, we're both cringing just thinking about him on chelsea. i'm still in the camp that he can be a game changing player but i'm not sure he can do it in england, especially not with chelsea.

Here's the thing about a Chelsea transfer. It would be way too much, but I'm not going to sweat Roman's cash because he obviously isn't. The thing I'm most worried about is an issue whether Ronny comes or not. That is Lamps.

In my opinion, that midfield should be Michael Ballack's. Lampard has had a lot of problems deferring to other mids in the past and I don't want Ballack's game to suffer.

-----------Anelka-------------Drogba---------------

---------------------Ronaldinho----------------------

--J Cole--------------Ballack---------------Essien--

-----A Cole------Alex------Terry------Belletti------

------------------------Cech--------------------------

That would be an insane lineup. Not for very long, but for a while it would light it up.

that lineup looks pretty nice to me, but i think drogba will be gone this summer, if/when the special one gets a big time position, drogba will be there.

Covering for Clark, Convey and Corrales was probably a factor. I think that long term, we need to alter our formation, because right now we have 3 guys playing in positions that don't necessarily play to their strengths in Donovan, Dempsey and now Bradley.

Inter just got massive ref help for the 3rd consecutive week.

Unbelievable.

Bitter Roma fan face.

While this might be incredibly yawn worthy for England fans, it marks what I think to be a real turning point for US soccer.

No longer are we playing friendlies at home against C level international squads; we are getting out and facing real, tough competition.

The next four upcoming games for the US Men's National team are Poland in Poland, England at Wembley, Spain in Spain and Argentina (rumored to be the "top 5" International side that Sunil Gulati announced before the Mexico match) at home.

Finally! REAL friendlies against REAL teams. No more of that Costa Rica/Latvia crap. This combined with the Confederations Cup in '09 are going to have us far more prepared for South Africa than we ever have been before any World Cup after doing nothing more than CONCACRAP qualifying.

It's been officially announced. USA v England, better known as Beckham's 100th and last cap, will be held at Wembley on May 28.

beautiful, it would be better if england was tuning up for euro 2008 but regardless it'll be cool to watch.

I see what you did there.

I should hope so, I was laying it on pretty thick.

So which shirt is Jozy wearing for this match?

Spanish champions Real Madrid could be headed to New Jersey, and may be playing the Red Bulls in the process.

Real Madrid is negotiating a deal to play the Red Bulls at Giants Stadium in August, multiple sources told SBI on Monday. Real Madrid could still play another European club, but the Red Bulls are the front-runners to be the opponent.

If the match does happen, it will mark Real Madrid's first match at Giants Stadium since its 0-0 friendly against Roma on Aug. 8, 2002. A crowd of 70,635 attended that match, which featured international stars Zinedine Zidane, Luis Figo and Roberto Carlos.

Based on the Red Bulls schedule, and with the La Liga season expected to begin in mid-August, the most likely date for a Real Madrid-Red Bulls match would be Wednesday, Aug. 6. The Red Bulls have MLS matches the weekends before and after that date. An Aug. 13 date would be too close to the start of the La Liga season.

The friendly would be the first high-profile friendly for the Red Bulls since facing Spanish giant Barcelona on Aug. 12, 2006 in front of a sold-out crowd of 79,002. Barcelona won the match, 4-1.

currently, yes. previously, no

Henry in his prime was simply unstoppable. If Adebayor reaches what Henry had done, he will be a very very special player. He already is, but no where close to what Henry was.

With that said I am very excited about the future of Arsenal.

Of course. My post was just marveling at Wenger's abilities to assess his players and get the most out of his squad. I picked Arsenal 4th this year and thought they would struggle to score without TH.

I know this is a couple days after the fact but apparently Man City's win over Man U was it's first at Old Trafford since 1974 and its first league double over Man U since 1970.

Wenger is easily the coach of the year IMO. I am almost suprised that no country has ever come in and offered him the world. I don't think even Wenger would have thought his team would have played this well this season.

kinda felt wrong that city won that game, since they were honoring the victims of the 1958 plane crash in munich.

wonder what city will do about their goalkeeping situation. they have joe hart and kasper schmeichel, both good young goalies who probably have a future in international play. lately schmeichel has been on loan to cardiff, but this arrangement can't last for the next few years. one of them will probably have to transfer elsewhere.
