Anyone have Nevin's numbers with the Cubs? It seems like all he ever does is make outs (aside from the game the other day when he drove in all three runs).

He actually has an OBP of about .320, but he's in a major slump at the moment.

This is a strange stat. From my counting, in the 3 game winning streak and this game, we have allowed 23 more walks then we have took. You can't keep winning for too long with that big of a disparity.

That's probably it for the kid (although you can't rule anything out with Dusty) - what a great outing.

I think he might try and stretch him one more inning. Baker will see O'Malley has thrown 87 pitches and see if he can get one more inning putting him at around 100 pitches. Just a hunch.

So who do you think is good for the pen?

I think Wuertz only threw 12 pitches last night

I know Howry only threw 5

Dempster is definitely out.

Guzman is likely out

Novoa, Ohman, and Rich Hill are possibilities. Gotta fill at least 3 innings here.
