Nice of the Astros to help the kid out by swinging at the first pitch, just like they did with Z the other night after the eighth-inning walk.

Don't forget Huff swinging on a 2-0 count (after the first two pitches were in the dirt) against Novoa with the bases loaded last night.

Does anyone know who was removed from the 40-man roster to make room for O'Malley today?

The assumption is that Wood was moved to the 60-day DL.
