Now that two of my fav. Cubs at the time are traded who should I cheer for. The padres because they finally gave Walker a chance and got him off the Cubs where he was being wasted away, or should I cheer for the Dodgers who have a few players that were good guys for the Cubs and to top it Mad dog. By the way who is going to be his catcher over there?

Dodgers

They have some really good young players that are fun to watch. In particular, Andre Eithier, Russel Martin and James Loney is playing 1b with Nomar on th DL.

Plus, Billingsly is in the starting rotation and Broxton is in the pen.

But, if you really like watching the Cubs(esp. from earlier in the season) then you might like the Padres. They show a innability to drive in runs.

I like watching the Mets. They gots them an nice offense. Plus, they have a few guys swinging our bats (Beltran, Reyes, etc.), so there is an interest.

Dodgers definitely. I don't like the Padres players (Greene, Piazza, Cameron mostly). The Dodgers -- outside of Jeff Kent -- are all very easy for me to like.

Plus, Vin Scully.

Anyways, I thought it was pretty funny that Todd Walker and Mark Bellhorn each made great plays at 3B yesterday.

The Padres solely because my dad wouldn't pull for the Cubs to make the playoffs so I'm not pulling for the Dodgers. He also didn't pull for the Cubs in 2003 in the playoffs. He takes great joy in reminding me that Cubs haven't won the World Series in 97 years and that Halley's Comet has passed twice since the Cubs last won the World Series.

Z's rooting for the Dodgers.

Cubs.com[/url]"] "I think the guy is like a machine," Cubs pitcher Carlos Zambrano said. "I've never seen him sore or him have any pain in his arm. He knows what to do. That's why every year he throws 200-plus innings. He knows how to get to 200 innings.

"To me, he's in the Hall of Fame. I hope the Dodgers go to the playoffs just for him."

I like the "to me, he's in the Hall of Fame."

I'd bet that Z's criteria for getting into the Hall are much more stringent than the actual criteria.

I'd have to go with the Dodgers. I'm more interested in Maddux and Nomar getting a chance at a championship than Walker and Bellhorn. Although I'd be happy if any of them got the chance.

Im rooting for the Dodgers. Not cause of Maddux, even though I like him, but because of Nomar. Also, personally I think Maddux is not ready to retire so therefore him in the playoffs this year would not mean a thing to him ending his career on a high note.

I'm rooting for the Dodgers cause of Nomah and Maddux.

Plus I would love to see Grady Little back in the playoffs in his 1st season back managing. The announcers will bring up the ol' "He didn't pull Pedro ... etc" schtick every game.

It's the opposite with me and my dad. My dad roots for the Cubs 156 games a year, except when they are playing LA. He wants me to see one of my teams win a championship, and I've always rooted for the Dodgers unless playing the Cubs, so I'd go with them.

Z should have a reality show and during the last 5 minutes of it he should just give us random thoughts he has.
