The running game just flatout sucks tonight.

Ditka was saying that the line isn't opening any holes, and that there's nowhere for them to run.

Starters should be a while tonight. Grossman predictions?

Realistic:

14-26 165 yards 1TD 1INT

Optomistic:

15-20 170 yards 1TD 0INT

13-21 121 1INT

If he had the TD, you'd have been damn close.

Can't say Griese has looked any better than Grossman, though.

Good to see Bradley do something.

How many pass interference calls is that on Wesley tonight?

Three maybe? But at least one was bogus.

True. But this last one sure wasn't... :P

Sorry Jon, but Griese looks much better, much more sure of himself than Grossman. I want Griese in there starting....it's a different team with him in there.

Tonight I didn't really see a difference aside from the pick and the drops.

If it wasn't the last preseason game this week, I'd like to see Griese vs. #1 defenses. He's played all #2's all preseason. It's basically the safe pick vs. potential right now. If Griese starts, the Bears can get down the field slowly but surely. If Rex starts, the offense can be much more explosive. Griese doesn't have nearly the arm Grossman does. Teams can attack the short routes with Griese in there.

Frankly, I'm a little more concerned with the running game at this point. There really hasn't been anything positive yet with the run blocking.

Given that this was the 1st preseason game with the offense mostly intact, I'd say Grossman did pretty well. INT's happen, but his completion percentage was good enough, and if you factor in the drops, he had a decent day.

I agree. The number of drops seem a bit high.

The running game hasn't done anything - but they said they haven't been working on it (which seems like a bad idea) so Rex can get reps.

As ignorant as this sounds...I will not consider the offense to be acceptable until they score one touchdown. I mean they've had just about 6 quarters to score a TD
