Has Pierre cracked the top ten in most hits(NL)? If he hasn't he must be close.

 

He's #5 in hits, but not in the top 40 in average, which shows that his high hit total is aided by the fact that he gets more atbats than other players.

Pierre was 3 off the major league top 10 entering today-should get it in the next few days I bet.

Sorry. Barrett dove back to second on a pick off attempt and the trainer came out and checked on him. Hopefully just a bruise. Barrett stays in the game.

Interesting to revisit the Pierre/Patterson debate, Pierre is catching up quickly.
