If you go by the seedings we have Metallica as the greatest American band ever. I do believe that the Experience is British except for Jimi Hendrix. Even if I am wrong Metallica is a top 2 American Band ever. I would not have considered it until this tourney. I dont think they are buy I am not really argueing with their seeding

If this was the "Pseudo-Reggae Slightly Smarmy Too Smart For their Own Good British 80's Band" Tournament, the Police would win by a mile. But since it's not, Metallica should kill them. Of course that's not how it's turning out...

LOS ANGELES, California (AP) -- Hard rockers Metallica, who long refused to make available individual songs from its albums for sale online, has begun doing so on the iTunes Music Store.

Beginning on Tuesday, the band put up four of its records _ "Kill 'Em All," "Ride The Lightning," "Master of Puppets" and "...And Justice For All" -- for sale on U.S. and Canadian versions of the popular online music retailer.

Fans may buy tracks a la carte for 99 cents or purchase the albums, starting at $9.90.

a little slow on the uptake, but finally available. Honestly, I don't know how much of this was Metallica being stubborn vs. their management company (Q-prime) holding them back. RHCP is also a Q-prime band and their stuff was not available either.
