White Sux lose again. YES!!!

Oh that felt so good! I get so tired of Hawk Harrelson and his little trade mark saying("Yes"!). I can't stand to listen to him, he makes me violently ill. I can't stand for the most the Chicago media because they are so negitive --always ripping on the Cubs. They never have anything positive to say about the Northsiders. And I'm really beginning to dislike Comcast Sports Chicago, especially Gail Fisher and Kerry Sayers and their little snide remarks about the Cubs...Okay, I feel better.

you don't have to hear hawk harrellsons phrases if you don't watch white sox games. easy as that.

You can hear it on SportsCenter. It is a very annoying call.

So then why do you use it?

It's great to poke fun at them w/ it when they lose.

Which is the definition of obnoxious, which is why you hate the team and their fans. This is getting confusing.

He'd reply, but he can't stop punching himself in the face.

When I watch the Sox I turn down the TV and listen to Ed Farmer. Honestly, he's one of the best in the business.

Best in the business? at what? name dropping?

When referring to attendence at the park, he always says "tickets sold". Not like Pat Hughes who says "in attendance". That's what Murph says anyway.

Ed Farmer show NO emotion when he calls a game. The guy makes it boring listening to him.

But as a Cubs fan that's one of the things I like about Farmer. I sure don't wanna listen to a homer like Hawk if I'm watching the Sox.

They ALL drop names. Tell me you wouldn't do the same to fill in a 3 hour broadcast if you had an 11-year career in MLB and 14 years in the booth to draw upon.

Yes, baseball7897, I do too. I wouldn't trade Hughes for Farmer. Pat gets especially amusing/punchy during blowouts ...

Everyone announcer does and every person does it, but he's completely over the top with his pointless stories and hanging out with random celebrities/politicians. He was an average color guy when he was paired w/Rooney, now he's a pretty bad play-by-play guy. On top of it all, he has to carry Chris Singleton for three hours, who is as bad as Joe Carter ever was.
