Remember that crappy movie with Brendan Fraser where he threw a perfect game for the Yankess with 27 K's on 81 pitches? It would be cool if he could do that!

Didn't Maddux only need something like 75 pitches for a complete game when he was with the Braves?

According to Ron, Bobby Brownlie was sent to Daytona last night and Clay Rapada was to return to West Tennessee. Bobby got around an hour east of Nashville (roughly 175-200 miles from Jackson) when he was called to come back to Jackson. Apparently Rocky is hurt and that busted the transaction.

Heh, you'd be surprised with how many college coaches and scouts know the lines to Anchorman.

I love it! Rich Hill continues to make Cubs management look like the fools they are. How can anyone in thier right minds keep a guy like that at AAA? I guess the kind of people that sighn Rusch and Perez to big contracts. Being a Cubs fan really sucks these days, our team is run by complete morons, Im convinced of it now.

Couple of notes from Saturday's DJaxx game:

Nic Jackson had to leave the game after grounding out 6-3 on a close play. He collapsed after running through the bag -- he must have hit the base awkwardly. He was limping as he walked off the field with the trainers; hope he's ok; didn't hear an update last night since it was toward the end of the game.

Scott Moore made an absolutely fantastic play on a screaming hopper down the line to prevent the Biscuits from at least tying the second game in the 9th last night. Ron said it was one of the best plays he'd seen since he'd been with the team.
