I am planning on going to the Rams/Bears Monday night game. Anyone been to a game in St Louis? Are single game tickets fairly easy to get?

I wanted to get season tickets this year to the Cowboys. My wife checked her work schedule and she would only be able to go to three of the games, so she vetoed the idea. I still plan on going to two this year and maybe a Saints game in New Orleans as well.

I went to two games in Dallas last year.

I wish I could make it to atleast one game but I probably won't this year. It'll be a fun team to watch for sure though, that defense is gonna be nasty.

I'm just hoping to get tickets. When I lived in the area from 1994-1999, tickets were impossible to get.

Jeremy Bloom signs contract with Eagles

The 147th player chosen, Bloom will sign a four-year, $1.782 million contract. The deal includes a $172,000 signing bonus and minimum base salaries for all four seasons. Bloom will have an opportunity to increase his 2009 base salary, scheduled to be $530,000, through "escalators" that are based on playing time, performance levels and Pro Bowl honors.

Monday Night Football, December 11th:

The Saint Louis Rams play host to the Chicago Bears. Rams DLE Leonard Little picks up Lovie Smith by his feet and beats the bearcrap out of the rest of the Bears' team with him.

Rams win 47-13.

Rex Tucker shrugs aloofly about it all.

Jeff Smoker stands on the sidelines just happy to be there.

Go Rams!

Go Cubs!

Hmm, I didn't realize St Louis still had a football team.

Awww c'mon!

That's just a blatant disregard to common sense.

The 9ers?

The 9ers?

No :!:

I'd understand Bears fans laughing and making jokes at the Rams if the Bears would actually beat them for the first time since 1997 (preseason games not withstanding) 8-[

I can't wait for the first time somebody on the Bears drills one of their offensive fairies. There's no team in the NFL that plays softer than the St. Louis Rams. And for that reason, I hate them.

Well, the first time will be just that - the first time a Bear drilled any Ram. We usually just juke the Bears plodding linebackers and watch them tumble like Jenga blocks. It's good times. :D

I gotta admit, the Rams under Martz were soft, but they were the greatest offense ever assembled - so it worked for them. Two trips to the Super Bowl in three years says something. Football is not all brute force of course, strategy wins.

The Colts are softer though - hands down. Besides, the Rams are entering a new era and the dive to the turf to avoid the hit Rams are history now. Steven Jackson make it so.

BTW, I hope I am not being viewed as trolling here, that's not my intentions. If I were I would just say Faulk > Payton but I am not that dumb.

The Rams got some better skill position players, but that's it. With a 1st year coaching staff, things aren't looking too good.

Wow, I've never heard anyone refer to Briggs or Urlacher as plodding.

Its a damn shame you need an elderly woman to accomplish what the Bungles couldn't. And even after all that, Big Ben will still be ready to play before Carson Palmer.
