If we had any kind of competitive team we'd be right in the middle of the divisional race. The Brewers will only be 5 games out at the end of the day (unless the Cardinals come back from their 8-2 deficit).

Oh, let's see...what will Dusty's excuse be for tonight???????????

Is Dusty to blame for anything that's happened tonight? This game has been about the pitchers (and our hitter's inability to score with RISP). Capuano's quick move prevents the runners from getting much of a lead so it's not like the hit and run is a good idea to stay out of the DP.

Maddux has now put this one out of reach at 5-0

Doesn't matter if he did anything bad tonight or not. Bottom line is that someone has to be accountable. It's not any one player's fault that the team blows, but it is Dusty who has seen his team decline from an NLCS team to the worst in baseball in 3 years. The team has quit on him, and he no longer deserves to coach this team.

Where is the guy that predicted that Capauno would not throw a CG shutout?

It looks like he is going to give it a try with only 116 pitches thru 8 innings! I don't care for this move at all with a 6 run lead! Unfortunately, I am not paid to manage or think!

I don't buy the idea that they "quit on him." They may have quit on themselves. Anyway, my response was about tonight's game and most of it was written while the score was 3-0.

However, I do agree that a manager is accountable for poor play.

So, what will the losing streak stand at after tonight?
4 in a row and 11 of our last 13

What happened to Aram? He looks terrible even though he hit that hard. Overall, his at bats look attrocious this year

He keep getting bad breaks dude. And his protection (lee) was gone

CUBS are 0-8 when they trail by 6 runs or more at the end of 8 innings.

Go CUBS !!

hard to believe that's only happened 8 times.
