Mesa losing 11-5 in the 8th. Dolis started and didn't make it out of the 1st giving up 4 hits, 2 BB's, 6 runs, and striking out one in only 2/3's of an inning. Pagan went 1 for 3 before being pinch hit for in the 7th. All 5 of Mesa's runs came in the 7th.

50 pct chance tonight in the QC too. skies look threatening 90 minutes before game time but we are taking BP. since they decided to not have windows that open in the press box (and yes this will be a theme tonight) at least i wont get wet...

Does anyone know who Omaha's 2nd starter will be? Since MacDougal is a relief pitcher I'm assuming that this will be a piggy-back start type of deal?

I'm not sure exactly what happened, but it sounds like Miguel Negron is limping around rather badly and may be injured?

In the limited amount of broadcast I'm actually getting between the dead air of what's supposed to be the Internet broadcast of the Djaxx game, it sounds like Negron got hurt.

24 pitches in the first for Wells. A 2-out RBI double made it 2-0.

Only 1 run scored on Huber's double, the other gun scored on Guiel's ground out.

Theriot single, Pie walk (3-0, then 3-2 with a few fouls), and Lee grounds out to first on a 2-1 pitch advancing the runners.

Sounds like Negron's OK and still playing (at least that's what the limited amount of actual broadcast I'm getting sounds like).

As best as I can tell from the limited amount of broadcast interrupting the dead air, the Jaxx fell behind 5-0 but have since pulled to 5-3.

Randy Wells not doing so hot in his first start at AAA. He's given up 7 runs on 9 hits in 3 and 2/3 innings. :x

Boise is up 1-0 in the middle of the second. Pawelek gave up 1 hit in a shutout first inning:

Emmanuel Burriss singles on a line drive to pitcher Mark Pawelek.

Boise scored thanks to an Elvin Puello RBI single.

Dang, Pawelek gives up 2 unearned runs in the 2nd, he was hurt by a Sammy Baez error.

2 IP, 2 R, 0 ER, 3 H, 1/1

Boise is losing 2-1 after 2.
