i gotta say, when i see that the rangers have scored 12 runs on 17 hits, i expect a little more out of blalock and teixeira than 1-9 w/ 2 rbis.

and mench didn't even play!

but, here's what happens when raw talent teams up with a great hitting coach:

Don't look now, but Kansas City just past the Cubs in run production.

Well, I wonder what Tim might want for the incredibly oft injured Kerry Wood?

I'm shopping.

I paid Maggs to get him. :(

I have a couple of players that are on fire. Mauer has been unbelievable and Beltran must be turning a few Mets fans into believers.

Mauer has almost singlehandedly led to me coming back in one of my leagues (Sizemore and Utley helped too, I guess). OF course, I did have Loe starting on that team too. Last week, I beat both #1 teams in my Yahoo leagues 11-1.

Wood is back in Bulbs lineup again to give him 6 starters? Um.. doesn't seem right to me considering his other 5 have already started a game, or will with Jennings going today??? That's twice in one week.. Cheater.. hahaha!

I'm hoping for a big offensive day today w/ Doug having 2 starts to my 1.

I don't trust any lead after Raw's 80+ pt. comeback last week. I can't believe my team outlasted that.

my three RP's this week: 32.85 points

my five SP's this week: 16.6 (18.25 of which came from newly acquired schilling)

i also have 16.25 points from putz and 12 from ray on my bench. in other words, my four relievers have more than tripled the points scored by my five starters.

Todd Jones finally ended his skid today. He had blown 3 of 4 saves and was KILLING me! He's almost in the positive for the week now.

Other then him, my pitchings been solid the last couple of weeks.

how the hell do you go six innings, walk six, give up five hits and not allow ANY runs??

my offense tried to get me back in it today, but it's probably too little too late. of course i dumped hensley when i got schilling, and he's given up one run thru 7 2/3.

I let Soler rot in my minors and he threw a complete game shutout.

ouch for tim. one out from a QS from milton then he walks a cub (!) followed by a neifi hr.

According to sportsline, one run was unearned. Looks like I'll squeak this one out despite all the injuries.

I may actually have a shot at leading in pts this week. I'm 1 pt behind right now.

if you don't get it this week, you'll get it next week against me. this is the second straight 320+ week i've given up...my defense is terrible lately.

I'm just happy to be pulling out a victory in a week in which I had four players land on the DL.
