Jason Schmidt did okay against me tonight.

BTW - how spoiled am I that I'm disappointed in quality starts from Webb and Liriano this week?

Okay. I got hit with the inevitable Floyd injury about 5 days after I trade for him.

Huzzah.

I'd pick someone up off waivers and play him, but there's not too many people out there I'm convinced with score positive points. I'll just hope for the best with Floyd coming back quickly.

Heh, don't forget Juan Cruz and his ailing shoulder is headed for the DL.

Okay, BBB...

If you want to upgrade 2B for this year and next, make me an offer for Weeks or Lopez.

Well, you could obviously use an OF and a P. How about Wang and Monroe for Weeks?

I'm not big on Wang (there's just no good way to say that). That looks like two waiver wire guys for one of the better keepers in the game to me.

QS for me so far this week with Wang. 7 IP, 1 run against the Red Sox. He has as many points as Weeks by himself. Craig Monroe also has nearly as many points as Weeks.

My 2nd baseman has 30 more points than Weeks (Uggla).

What exactly are you expecting for your reserve 2b?

I guess I don't view him as a reserve 2B as much as a star in waiting. Would you up your offer for Lopez, who doesn't have the pedigree but has more points?

I don't really think I can. Weeks might be good eventually (if he learns how to catch the ball :D ). After looking at Uggla's numbers, neither is an upgrade over what I already have. And I really don't have much in regards to upgrades in the OF. I'm not giving up Griffey for what may end up being a reserve 2b. And Wang and Madson are the only two starting pitchers I would consider trading right now.

We probably just aren't a good match at this point.

and the giants can't get a guy in from third w/ less than two outs for the 40th time today. the surprising part? alou grounds into a DP w/ the bases loaded...shocking.

Who needs Rickie Weeks?

Dan Uggla today= 2-5, 2 HR's, 5 RBI, 2 runs, 8 TB, 1 KO and 14.75 points

Can you say All Star Game? :D

uggla's pissed that you think you need an upgrade.

Yeah, he keeps this up and I'll have my 2nd win in 3 weeks.

you suck, giants. and i hope willis' arm falls off.

my opponents have been throwing some ridiculous pitching at me the past couple weeks. complete games from batista and willis...two near no-no's by young. meanwhile, five of my last eight starts have gone for negative points. hurry back, sheets, patterson, and clemens....

So this is what they mean by "Winning Uggla-ly" :D

I picked up Milton to get some points when he shuts down the Cubs on Sunday. I'd move Cruz to my injured list, but it's already overflowing.

i really hate fantasy baseball these past two weeks. harang's crusing w/ a shutout thru 5 and he gives up a couple runs and is taken out 1 out short of a QS. i have two QS (jannsen and park) on my bench while the pitchers i've actually started have sucked balls lately.

funny how that kind of [expletive] happens all in the same week, you know? i guess it's better that way.

Damn, I'm glad I got a good player in that deal! If it weren't for Cantu, I'd probably not have traded Uggla.

I like having Ichiro, though!

The Marlins just need to get their arms all in a row, and they're going to win games in bunches. It's an exciting team to watch.

i gotta say, when i see that the rangers have scored 12 runs on 17 hits, i expect a little more out of blalock and teixeira than 1-9 w/ 2 rbis.
