He should of ran at Juan, instead of throwing so quickly. if he would of done that he would of tied edmonds up too.

I completely agree with you. When talking about Bonds, people always talk about how he stands close to the plate and can reach the outside pitch easier. But the reason he can do that is because he wears that armor and doesn't have to worry about getting hit in the arm so he can crowd the plate.
