Chiefs were robbed a couple of times on what sounded like good plays. Nate doesn't know if Mark is coming back out or not, Yepez should be ready to relieve him.

Prior is finishing his pitches in the bullpen, he is done.

Nate said he looked much, much sharper than last time.

Muy bueno. We can worry about his velocity later.

My thoughts exactly. Great job by Prior. He was efficient and executed well. Didn't fall behind batters too much, and no walks. I like it. Good as can be expected I think.

I'd like for him to be pitching stronger already, but it's only his 2nd rehab start and look hwo much he's improved in ALL areas since the first. It's only 2 games, but it seems like with time and being careful, he should get back to at least being in the near vicinty of "the old Prior" pretty fast. And hell, even if he lost a bit of his speed, it's not like he has to pound his pitches past guys. Prior could have a great career as more of a "finesse" thrower...Maddux with a bit more speed.

It seems he pitched well today. I'm not worried about the velocity. It's good that he's throwing a lot of strikes and making the other team put the ball in play.

So did the Wizards win? Inquiring Fort Wayne minds need to know.

Good to see Prior had a better outing.

Sucks that we have to be affiliated with the freaking Padres.

yes, Ft Wayne wins 2-0.

I agree completely with Nate, Prior looked *much* better than he did on Monday (thank goodness), even though Kane County is a much better team than Ft Wayne, his pitching was a lot sharper.

Unfortunately, the rest of the Chiefs looked pooped. I'm not sure if this is reality or just my perception, but after such an intense series with KC, they seemed to be mentally tired yesterday. After 2 double-headers in a row, they've got to be at least a little beat physically too.

if his velocity was the same as 2 weeks ago id be worried but its been going up
