Huge week for me. My team played a crappy game this week, and got away with it. Less than 230 points with 8 starts (4 from Smoltz and Santana). Some of my boys have been slumping or nursing injuries. I have a 1 start disadvantage. Too close to call right now. Before last week, I believe I was the high scorer from weeks 4-7, finishing in the top 4 each week.

Thanks for the congrats. I stated in another thread that my team isn't nearly as bad as the standings reflect. Dustyism as it may sound. It's not a good team. But, I think it's an average team.

In the first 5 weeks, Quakers, Harry's Budcrew, Danger Bees and the Leon Trotsky's all had weeks against my team that they have yet to match in any other week in the season. The 5th week out of 5 weeks was against NSBB, which was only a typical week for his team. The lowest point total in those first 5 weeks that any team scored against my team was 299. Wow!

No, I don't expect to be there at the end of the season, but I am willing to shop players for prospects.

This is a big test for me as well. I need some solid pitching, not great, but solid. I'd like to have one week where all my guys perform well. I haven't really had a week like that yet.

my rotation could be getting a nice mid-june boost...

The NY media may have you prematurely excited. But, I think it will still happen. Hopefully not in time for the big Week 10 matchup...

yeah, it doesn't sound like it's really a done deal. hope it ends up happening soon, though i don't think it's gonna happen by week 10.

Good gravy, Juan. That's 10 home runs on the week already.

You must have given the troops one heck of a pep talk!

yea, I told them we were down two starts so they had to make up the gap.

This much offense production...It's gotta to be steriods!!! My guess is that it is not the pep talk, but the pep pills

It's made up already. You can tell them to stop now. ;)

my A's are now 6-6 with two singles, two doubles, and two homeruns, 3 runs scored and 4 rbi.

They have half of your four singles on the day. But they only have a paltry four of your thirteen extra base hits so far.
